Vibration-isolating VE for outdoor units

Please refer to the table below for selecting vibration isolation in outdoor units.
Vibration-isolating materials for outdoor units include the TSU series, TSM series, and Dimple Pad series.
The TSU series has excellent earthquake resistance and vibration-isolating performance.
The TSU series has better earthquake resistance compared to the TSM series and the Dimple Pad series, however, the latter two series have lower prices.

Advantages
  • Better vibration isolation than conventional vibration isolation frames. (Conventional vibration isolation frames work at roughly 6Hz to 8Hz)
  • Ease of installation is improved by enabling installation as a single unit with the common frame.
  • 2.0G of horizontal resistance is provided by vibration-isolating material alone.
  • Price is low.
  • Can be installed easily and vibration-isolating performance relatively similar to a standard vibration isolation frame can also be achieved.
  • Price is low.
  • Though standard vibration isolation frames have better vibration-isolating performance, its performance is superior to vibration isolation pads.
Disadvantages
  • The price is higher than other vibration-isolating materials.
  •  When installing vibration-isolating materials, take care of the following.
    1) Size of steel material (150 or more if H steel)
    2)For “geta” foundations, check whether the vibration-isolating material can be installed as the vibration-isolating material is large in size.
  • It is necessary to take into consideration the earthquake resistance of the function attachment bolts.
  • High-strength bolts must be used in certain earthquake resistance conditions. (Increase in cost)
  • The number used increases, therefore more effort is required to place vibration-isolating materials when mounting the equipment.
  • Vibration-isolating performance is low and due to the relation of the installation location and target room, it cannot be used.
